So, I guess that this book was a bad choice! We really need a good book for the next pick so that we can actually have a discussion (I guess next time we won't take recommendations from my 16 year old sister)! Sorry for those of you who didn't like this one. I am only about half way through and I don't mind it, I definetaly don't love it.

I really would like to read another book by Lorna Landvik since I loved Angry Housewives Eating Bon Bons. I started a wish list on Amazon...I wish that I would actually read the books on the list, not just put them there.

I also received my updated Readers Circle Book Club Guide, so I am going to bring that to the meeting for review.

I am excited about the actual meeting, since Elizabeth is making shitloads of fondue. I talked to her today and she is going to make a cheese appetizer fondue, several different salads for the entree and then a dark or white chocolate dessert fondu. She sounds super excited to be hosting (really she does - she doesn't sound coerced at all)!

I have two weeks to finish the book...this will not be my first strike...I will finish!

I'm okay with books sucking. I still feel accomplished for finishing them. I really just felt that anyone could have written the book. (I know I have thought that before, like with the Jen Lancaster book, but now I know I could have definitely written something just as interesting.) She may chronologically be in her mid-thirties finding out about being married without a child, but she needs to act a little older than I before I enjoy anything that she has to say.
